Hans DC / The Phantom Sun

HansDC aka The Phantom Sun has been a staple in the Melbourne scene for almost two decades. A working DJ who has been and seen it all, Hans has regularly performed at some of the most credible venues and festivals over the years, and is resident to a handful, namely Revolver Upstairs, Ronnies Blue Bar, Electric Chapel and the infamous Rainbow Serpent Festival. Also part of the mighty Operatives crew, Hans cannot be pigeonholed into a single genre of music. The experience from playing weekly bar and club gigs, to massive festival stages has filled his repertoire with being able to command dance floors of all types. The word ‘Versatility’ is an understatement and shows no justice to what he can do given any situation. From techno to bass, and pop to hip-hop, trap and low-slung downtempo chill-out , there are not many boundaries in his sets. Expect the unexpected with music you know, beats you have never heard before, and tunes that make you think and wonder. Did someone say Swiss-Army Knife?
