Bad Opera is nothing short of a treasure trove of some of the most killer acts set to hurl Melbourne’s soul/rnb scene on its head, one damn day at a time.
Formed to assist in the development of a number of Melbourne’s finest exponents of Soul/RnB, the BAD OPERA collective is finally happy to reveal itself after coming together over the past year. Featuring Billy Davis and members of his band the Good Lords Tentendo, Blasko, Jordan Dennis and THE CB3. Bad Opera has also brought together the talents of vocalists Deandre Brackensick, RINI, Olivia Escuyos and producer Swell. The musical family plans to continue to add members over time, with Melbourne’s strong affinity with soul and RnB the perfect breeding ground for the crew.
To celebrate this news, the Bad Opera collective will be making its live debut at Howler this June 11 with a party to rival all. Featuring sets from all members and collaborations through the night, it’ll be a perfect opportunity for each of these artists to showcase their singular brilliance as well as their strength as a family.
Strap yourself in to have these guys soulfully serenade your every sorrow into shreds, The Queen has given us a day off the next day so It’s gonna be one royal party.
