To celebrate the release their upcoming new single ‘Ball & Chain’ Billy Davis and The Good Lords will be hitting the road to perform two very special headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
Billy Davis is a musical juggernaut and the live show which features The Good Lords includes up to 10 members, pieced together by the multi-talented band leader and chief-songwriter William Rimington. Their style mirrors luminaries like Kaytranada, Anderson Paak and the Internet, with their upbeat jams appearing as a breath of fresh air on the Australian music scene.
One of the tightest bands going around, Billy Davis has thrilled a growing number of fans with their energetic live show. Aside from sharing the stage with the likes of Anderson .Paak and Blackalicious, they’ve also featured at Strawberry Fields Festival and Let Them Eat Cake, with their growing support culminating in a standout set at the recent Golden Plains Festival.
A sought-after session musician in his own right, Rimington has spent the last couple of years immersing himself into the fruitful Melbourne neo-soul & Hip-Hop scene, before joining forces with influential collective The Operatives. Quickly assembling the Billy Davis project, the group’s first album Bad Ending was released independently earlier last year to a burst of fanfare. Now, the band are readying themselves to step into the spotlight with exciting new material quickly appearing on the horizon.
