DJ Rashad is the foremost ambassador for Chicago Footwork. He relentlessly toured the world for the last three years since Footwork first entered the global consciousness via YouTube in the late 2000s. Before that, he’d been DJing and producing Footwork tracks in Chicago since the mid 90s.
Rashad is a tireless track-maker and the quintessential figure in the evolution of the contemporary Footwork sound from its origins in Ghetto House (the Dance Mania era of House Trax).
