The Operatives are proud to present their latest tour of formidable musical talent in the debut Australia and New Zealand tour of DJ SPINN.

As the dizzying rhythms of Chicago footwork have spread across the globe over the last couple of years, DJ SPINN has become one of its primary ambassadors. Alongside his late partner-in-crime DJ RASHAD, the formation of their label and collective TEKLIFE was responsible for bringing the scene that had remained hidden in the backyards and dance halls of Illinois for over fifteen years to a new and eager generation.

A DJ since his teens, a SPINN set is unstoppable. Flickering with his own productions and featuring everything from still-smouldering club smashes to Watch the Throne cuts and even a Giorgio Moroder soundtrack get sucked into a TEKLIFE style – a overheating, chaotic and inescapably gleeful affair, delivered at breakneck speed.

Whether it’s by unforgettable sets, boundless albums and EPs, introducing a genre to a global audience or platforming upcoming producers and DJs through his label, this only just the beginning – the world has yet to see what DJ SPINN has next up his sleeve.
