Whether it’s by the skateboard deck, paintbrush or on Roland SP 404 pads, Teebs captures blossoming, positive energy. In the few short years he’s been producing LA-based Mtendere Mandowa’s music swirls like his artwork –delicate, richly composed, textured expressions that have captured fans from across the globe since his debut album ‘Adour’. Part of the Brainfeeder family and a resident DJ at LA’s Dublab, his unique music has seen him co-found art and music collective My Hollow Drum, team up with Daedules and Jeremiah Jae and collaborate with Prefuse 73 on last years’ intriguing release ‘Sons of Morning’. His latest LP, ‘ESTARA’ and its accompanying art show ‘ANTE VOS’ (a collection of intricate paintings on repurposed record sleeves) is together it’s own complimentary creation – an artwork that you can admire for each minute detail and sheer heartfelt beauty.

Brad Baloo (The Nextmen)

This eclectic production duo have been carving up shiny gems from London’s lovely low-end underbelly blending anything worth listening to from all electronic music styles since forming in ’96. Known for their explosive DJ sets and reggae compilations – they’ve collaborated with the likes of Public Enemy, Blackalicious, The Pharcyde and Morcheeba, Jamaican legends Niney The Observer and Demolition Man, and LSK from Faithless. Each notable musicians in their own right, joining us at Espionage will be keyboard playing, turntablist and half of the The Nextmen and The Milk, Brad Baloo.

Sofie Loizou

A classically trained musician, composer and media artist alongside her production talent, Sydney-based RBMA gradate Sofie’s music is without boundaries. From the emotive Saturday Night Blues to the hypnotic sounding Aphoria Horizonte to the soft strings on Bio Mimicry there is nothing that she can’t make lush and delicate. Alongside her namesake, she produces under the alias Anomie – a psychedelic and darker take on bass music, emphasising her interest in politics and revolution. Definitely, Sofie is an artist to watch out for.

With support from the loyal Operatives Agents Able8 Feat. Benny Diction + Melody Myla and Dr. Res, this is one unmissable showcase of seminal artistic talent.
