Adding a beautifully soulful touch to fuzzy, forward thinking-beats The Operatives are proud to present Fatima and Alexander Nut from London’s esteemed imprint Eglo Records. Linking up with the conscious music fam to present one hell of a  show.

Few vocalists can claim to have worked with such a diverse array of musicians, a true testament of her capabilities, talent and versatilely, Fatima’s list of collaborators spans the likes of Floatings Points, Shafiq Husayn, Dam Funk, Scratcha DVA, Dorian Concept, Scoop Deville, Ras G and Teebs to name but a few. Born in Stockholm, Sweden but currently residing East London, Fatima is a nomadic child of the cosmos, drawing upon life inspiration and energy in everything from LA Freeways, London basements and The Sea through to Earth Wind And Fire and the sky above. Watch her latest video for ‘Biggest Joke of All’ from her startling debut album ‘Yellow Memories’.

Alexander Nut runs one of the more idiosyncratic outfits on the UK dance music landscape: Eglo Records. The man born Alex Rogers counts singular talents like Floating Points, Fatima and Funkineven as part of his core roster. And while his renowned label showcases his strong curatorial voice, he’s also an excellent DJ. Rogers connects musical eras in the way other DJs weave between genres, playing tracks other selectors wouldn’t even consider dropping. Rogers also holds a slot on Rinse FM, affording him regular opportunities to show off his eclectic tastes. Appearing in Australia for only the second time, the tenacious crate digger will undoubtedly showcase his recent discoveries, ranging from 70′s African music to early dub and vintage soul
