The Operatives turn 18, and we’re inviting some close friends to join the celebrations.
Melbourne collective The Operatives are back for another year of iconic birthday celebrations, marking a milestone 18 years of unforgettable events and fostering local music subcultures.

Ready to convert The Industrique into an all-out warehouse rave for the 10th of December, The Operatives will be inviting some old friends to join in the celebrations. The full line up will be announced on the 23rd of August, which expects to see a bill of some special guests along with The Operatives all-stars. Keeping on with tradition, attendees are invited to wear a camo get-up as tribute to The Operatives and its Agents.
Since their early beginnings in 2004, The Operatives have been deeply ingrained in Melbourne’s music culture. From hosting some of the world’s most exceptional music figures and unearthing ground-breaking local talent, The Operatives is now a booking, management, touring, events and production company, also operating as festival partners.

This show is part of ALWAYS LIVE, a new state-wide celebration of contemporary live music supported by the Victorian Government through Visit Victoria. Dedicated exclusively to live contemporary music, the program focus is on spotlighting Victoria as the key cultural destination for audiences across the Asia-Pacific.
