JPS aka Jerry Poon is known to most as the head honcho of The Operatives, which over the past 5 years have had an unparalleled commitment to bringing out ground breaking experimental beats artists to Australia and New Zealand. Active in his role as DJ, Tour agent, promoter and producer, JPS has progressed on to become one of the leading exponents of The beats community in all respects.
The vast diversity of genres the agency supports is reflected in his sets – From hip hop, funk, soul, future beats, Salsa, Samba, to DnB, dancehall and Reggae to name a few.

Signed to OBSEsessions and Qilin Records, he has ongoing collaborations with Kiat, Johnny Hooves, Fugitive, Shamik and Motive as well as received play by the likes of Concord Dawn, Asides, Kiat and more.
