SLUM VILLAGE ( DETROIT/USA)

Slum Village Returns to Australia and New Zealand for the First Time in 10 Years

Detroit hip-hop legends Slum Village are heading back to Australia and New Zealand for their first tour in a decade.

Founded in the early 1990s in Detroit’s Conant Gardens by T3, Baatin, and the iconic J Dilla, Slum Village became a cornerstone of the city’s hip-hop scene. Today, T3 and Grammy-nominated producer Young RJ, Dilla’s protégé, carry the legacy forward.

The group’s catalogue includes classics like “Tainted” from Trinity and “Selfish” featuring Kanye West and John Legend from Detroit Deli, along with Villa Manifesto and YES, which features posthumous Dilla productions. Their latest album, F.U.N., features Cordae, Larry June, Elijah Fox, and Eric Roberson.

Don’t miss the chance to see hip-hop royalty live.
