“It feels like everything has been building to this moment,” Steven Ellis says to the Music at the House team behind this exceptional video of his one-of-a-kind audio-visual feast at the Sydney Opera House. After a sold-out Australia-wide tour, Flying Lotus‘s 2014 trip down under culminated in the most iconic space in the country and brought a seated audience to it’s feet. With appearances from alter-ego Captain Murphy, the indescribable visuals provided by Strangeloop and Timeboy, and the incomparable music of Flylo himself (as well as some choice selects from diverse musicians such as Queen and Drake) LAYER 3 is an experience that needs to be heard and seen to be believed, and we can’t wait until the next time.
